Mapping Fragments: History of Blue and White Porcelain

Bundith Phunsombatlert (ACC 2007) shares his Mapping Fragments: History of Blue and White Porcelain as BPL 2023 Katowitz-Radin Artist-in-Residence. The intention of this work represents rich cultural dialogues which celebrates the experiences of migration. Phunsombatlert accomplishes this through braiding media, imagery, and written history to decolonize traditional archives.

Music From Japan

March 04, 2023 - March 05, 2023

Music From Japan features two stunning music pieces in this two day program: "COLORS: Contemporary Vocal Works of Japan" with Rica Narimoto (ACC 2011) and "Current Sounds Japan III". COLORS will showcase seven inspiring vocal pieces preceded by a lecture and Current Sounds will feature select composer's contemporary music.

Felon: An American Washi Tale

Directed by ACC Alumni Elise Thoron (ACC 2008, 2010), Felon: An American Washi Tale, tells the story of a teen's transformation into a poet, lawyer, and promoter of the rights of prisoners. Reginald Dwayne Betts explores the consequences of his incarceration in this powerful solo theater show.
