“Untitled – Ink Rhythm” is a black-painted, enormous non-woven fabric sculpture by Jennifer Wen MA* (ACC 2006, 2013, 2015). The visual engagements of this work lead to its strong presence while blending itself well into the venue; with the shape creating rhythm in the space, the color responding to trees outside the building, and its entirety casting its imagery on the floor. Combining elements of traditional Chinese landscape painting and of minimalist principles, Ma juxtaposes the opposites such as tradition and modernity, and strength and fragility.
