March 22 - April 5, 2024 

The Chinese American Arts Council/Gallery 456 presents Zhaohui Zhang: Rethinking Ink, curated by Lily Wei, on view from March 22 through April 5, 2024. Zhaohui ZHANG's (ACC 1996, 1997, 1998) pictorial language is derived from an informed knowledge of the historical and more recent art of several cultures, most significantly European and American modernism as well as Taoist and Buddhist thought, the Japanese mono-ha school, and Korean monochrome, in addition to ink wash traditions.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, 5-7pm, with an artist talk from 5:30pm – 6:10pm.
