International travel is on pause, but international exchange continues!

With the goal of bringing Taiwan Biennial 2020 to a global audience, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) and ACC Taiwan have partnered for Taiwan Biennial 2020 Online Symposium with curator Lê Thuận Uyên (ACC 2016, Vietnam), artist Tseng Chien-Ying (ACC 2017, Taiwan), and artist Tan Kian-Ming (Malaysia), moderated by ACC Taiwan Director Rita Chang. This talk will focus on the return of folk beliefs in contemporary art practice in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, and question human's relationship to the pandemic, natural disasters, materialism and the source of all evil—greed.
