"Black and White: The Aesthetics of Photography," from the Bibliothèque Nationale de France in Paris, is one of the richest collections of its kind in the world. This major exhibition includes 300 works by Nadar, Gustave Le Gray, Man Ray, Ansel Adams, Willy Ronis, Robert Frank, Daido Moriyama, and many other masters of photography from France and abroad, spanning some 150 years from its origins in the 19th century to the present day.
This retrospective exhibition covers the history of black and white photography. Koichiro Kurita's (ACC 1990) photographs are featured in the posters and invitations.
This exhibition was originally postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19.
