"Bayanihan Musikahan" gathers Filipino musical artists online through marathon singing (concert series) as a way to bring the nation together in the spirit of "bayanihan," and to direct it towards aiding the most vulnerable communities by fundraising. It is helmed by National Artist for Music Maestro Ryan Cayabyab leading the call of the moment: to give back, pay forward, and give ourselves a shot at a new kind of rave. Make compassion the antidote to COVID-19! "The concert intends to rally the fighting spirit of the Filipino: to come together as a nation of song, imagination, grit, and a strong sense of common destiny."

On Friday, May 8, 2020, at 9:00PM (Manila), ACC Fellow Grace Nono will perform live in the online fundraising concert series Bayanihan Musikahan. As one of this weeks' featured artists, she will offer prayer chants learned from her elders whom she reveres with gratitude.
