ArtSpeak continues the conversation started by Filipino printmaker Ambie Abaño (ACC 2011) and Malaysian printmaker Juhari Said on printmaking techniques and processes during the Art Fair Philippines held early this year.
Registration is now open for ArtSpeak Online: Expanded Printmaking II featuring Thai printmaker and Chiang Mai Art on Paper Studio founder, Kitikong Tilokwattanotai. CAP Studio is a fine art printmaking studio that specializes in traditional etching and woodblock printing techniques, producing limited-edition handmade prints in collaboration with Thai and international artists.
Joining in the conversation are printmakers Ambie Abaño and Juhari Said as they discuss non-traditional and experimental approaches to printmaking employed by leading practitioners in Southeast Asia.
This event was organized as part of Limbag Kamay: Contemporary Print Fair, a week-long event at Cartellino.com to celebrate fine art printmaking and to educate the general public on printmaking processes.
Slots are limited. To register for the event that starts 2:00PM (Manila), please go to: bit.ly/AAGExpandedPrintmaking
