ブランシェット・H・ロックフェラー賞堤 清二氏への授与が決定　贈呈式を開催

アジアン・カルチュラル・カウンシル（ACC）は、堤 清二氏（公益財団法人セゾン文化財団 理事長）の長年にわたるACC、および国際文化交流への多大な貢献に対し、ブランシェット・H・ロックフェラー賞（BHRアワード）を授与することを決定いたしました。

The Asian Cultural Council (ACC) will present the Blanchette Hooker Rockefeller Award to Mr. Seiji Tsutsumi (Chairman, The Saison Foundation) in recognition of his many years of extraordinary support of ACC, its work and international cultural and artistic exchange.

【ブランシェット・H・ロックフェラー賞について】
ブランシェット・H・ ロックフェラー賞 (BHRアワード) は、 アジアン・カルチュラル・カウンシル (ACC) の元理事長であり、また創設者ジョン・D・ロックフェラー三世の妻であったブランシェット・H・ロックフェラーに敬意を表し 2009 年に設立されました。当賞は、ACC への永続的で重要な資金的援助、および格別のご尽力をいただいた個人または団体に贈られます。

ロックフェラー夫人は国際交流と慈善事業において大変な尽力をした人でした。また、彼女のコレクターとしての情熱は、伝統的なアジア美術からアメリカの抽象表現主義まで及び、芸術の支援者として、そして芸術教育においてのボランティア活動家としても知られました。

堤清二氏の受賞を記念しまして、来る2012年10月12日（金）午後6時より、ブランシェット・H・ロックフェラー賞贈呈式を開催いたします。

【About the Blanchette Hooker Rockefellr Award】
The Blanchette Hooker Rockefeller Award was created in 2009 in honor of Blanchette Hooker Rockfeller, past chairman of the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) and the beloved wife of ACC’s founder, John D. Rockefeller 3rd. The Award recognizes an individual or institution for consistent and significant support of the Asian Cultural Council and international cultural exchange, either with financial contributions or outstanding volunteer service.

Mrs. Rockefeller was a unique individual who embodied the spirit of cultural exchange and philanthropic service. Her passion as a collector extended from traditional Asian art to American abstract expressionism. She was generous both as a patron and as an active volunteer who devoted her time to community service in the arts and education.

An award ceremony will be held in Mr. Tsutsumi’s honor on October 12th, 2012, at 6:00 p.m.
