Maria Christine M. MUYCO (ACC Current Fellow) conducts a workshop and talk at Columbia University with the Department of Music.

Muyco is a professor at the University of the Philippines in the College of Music, and has extensive research expereince in Ethnomusicology and Dance Theory as well as Music Composition. She leads the Graduate Studies Program of the UP College of Music. She is founder and president of the “Bayi” (women composers of the Philippines) and the Balay Patawili, Inc., a non-profit initiative for cultural activities of Panay indigenous people in the Philippines.
