The exhibition seeks to highlight Chinese ink painting changes over the past 50 years. While these artists move past tradition to adopt innovative methods of creation, they still maintain the spiritual energy of ink or qi.

Zhang takes part in the Abstraction exhibit where they create an elemental ink series based on fire, water, and wood.
