The Asian Cultural Council brought Ian Buruma and Pico Iyer together for our inaugural East-West Dialogue on June 15 at The Morgan Library & Museum in New York City. The evening provided an engaging discussion between two scholars and thought leaders whose prolific careers have inspired new thinking on culture and community throughout the world.
East-West Dialogues is an annual lecture series that engages distinguished thought leaders from the arts and cultural fields in Asia and the West, and aims to encourage critical thinking, and promote cross-cultural dialogue, exchange, and understanding, in furtherance of the mission of the Asian Cultural Council.
